Nissan GTR 530 - Nissan GT-R 530 is Sachin Tendulkar's Replacement to Ferrari 360 Modena

We’ve all wondered why did Sachin, a car enthusiast, sell off his Ferrari 360 Modena. However, he has soon found a surrogate for the Ferrari, a Nissan GTR 530. The cost of the new addition to Sachin’s collection of is $87,000 (Rs 40 lakh approx).
The new GT-R now makes 530 hp at 6,400 RPM and peak torque of 450 lb-ft from 3,200-6,000 RPM.
Nissan claims the GT-R can reach a top speed of 311 km/h (193 mph). ‘Motor Trend’ recorded a top speed of 195.0 mph (313.8 km/h).[2 It has been tested to achieve 0-60 mph (97 km/h) times as low as 3.2 seconds with "launch control"
A source from Dubai’s Arabian Automobiles showroom from where the car was purchased, is quoted to have said that top two engineers from Dubai were flown in with the supercar, so that they could tune it to Sachin’s preferences.
While auto-enthusiasts are claiming that Sachin may have opted to not drive his Ferrari because of it's low-ground clearance which made the car unfit to drive on Mumbai roads, others are not too enthusiastic about his latest buy which they say, cannot be compared to the sheer snob value attached with a Ferrari, says NDTV.
Confirming the news, a close friend of the batting ace said, “Sachin is delighted with the arrival of his new car.”
Commenting on the decision to sell the Ferrari, the pal said, “It was tough for him to ensure that the car maintained its minimum run on Mumbai’s roads. Also, he could not get out on the roads because people would easily identify the car. It wasn’t used much for the same reason.”
